I started using Polyvore about 6 years ago and decided to give it another shot recently. I felt like I was back in college and got carried away creating style boards this weekend. I also created a few decor boards and wanted to share them with you. Today's decor boards feature a versatile jute herringbone rug styled three different ways.
The first board is my favorite and I want my living room to look like this. The chesterfield sectional, chandelier and gold coffee table add lots of glamor to the space while the banana leaf plant and Slim Aarons Poolside party photography provides a cool tropical retro vibe.
The second board is a bit more traditional but I funked it up with pops of pink in the Juju hat as well as throw pillow. I kept a little gold in the space for a touch of glamour but also styled it to feel cozy and relaxed. Grab a blanket and a cup of tea and snuggle up on that sofa.
The final board plays off florals and birds. I love how the colors in the pillows pop against that beautiful tufted bed. I mixed floral prints in similar color palettes and complemented that with orange ranunculus. This board features silk ranunculus but I prefer fresh flowers as they add life and fragrance to a space. They're such a treat!
These boards serve as inspiration but you can click on each one to see the sources for items used. Many are pretty pricey so I suggest getting creative and sourcing from places like HomeGoods, Ikea, Target etc.
