KRYSMAS DECOR
.
It was a Modern-Vintage, Tropical-Glam Christmas over at my place this year or what I call Krysmas (get it?😂)!
I shared a few images on Instagram with you alrady but wanted to share a few more before the holiday spirit packs up her bags and heads out the door.
#MyKrysmasTree was tropical inspired and decorated with a mix of fruits, birds, flowers & tassels.
Peonies aren't tropical flowers but if you're like me, you'd agree it was the only choice for a tree topper 🌸. Besides I already had it on hand.
I love this little palm tree ornament! 🌴✨
DIY tassel ornaments from last year!
Have you ever seen a pink peacock? Well now you have!
Couldn't be a tropical tree of a Guyanese girl without mangos!
Haven't you heard? #IHaveAThingForFlamingos💕 Do you spot the pineapple as well? 🍍 🍍🍍
I added a festive touch to my DIY console table with a bowl full of vintage Christmas ornaments. The colorful fabric is a woven tapestry my sister gifted me from her trip to Guatemala.
My holiday bar cart featured a brass container of Monstera leaves for that tropical vibe. I played up its vintage style by hanging three of my vintage Christmas ornaments on the front of the cart.
I adore the tassels on these vintage ornaments!
El Dorado rum for a true Guyanese Christmas! The ice bucket is vintage and the crystal decanter is vintage and belonged to Mom.
Tea time after Christmas! I made floral arrangements with flowers from Trader Joe's and added a bowl of fresh Meyer lemons to the mix. It tied in well with my tree.
Tassels & Tea!
Vintage Black Glamour coffee table book and a gold ceramic bowl of malachite beads from a broken necklace.
I always add a Christmas tree to the top of Stef's die cast Lexus. I did an IG story for this quick DIY. Hope you caught it!
Tropical leaf ornaments mixed in with my more traditional decor on top my TV console.
Hope you enjoyed a peek into my holiday home!
