MILDRED IN CASCO VIEJO, PANAMA 🍹🍦

If you’re new to the blog, allow me to re-introduce myself! I’m Krystle’s #RetroAlterEgo and ice cream companion! I am to Krystle as Sasha Fierce is to Beyoncé. I pop into town quite often to visit and whenever she takes a trip I’m sure to accompany her to get some sweet treat! It’s a tradition of ours to get ice cream every time we go on vacation and her recent trip to Panama was no exception.

Gran Clement is a gelato cream shop located in the heart of Casco Viejo with some of the most delicious and interesting flavors made from local ingredients. It was a stone-throw away from our hotel so I took a quick stroll over and ended up trying their basil gelato. I know it seems odd to have a herb-flavored ice cream but trust me, this flavor was yummy & refreshing! I tried to go back one more time before we left Panama, but the shop had an issue with their freezer and was closed that morning. Of course, getting ice cream wouldn't be complete without the appropriate ensemble! I decided to rock this retro-modern look comprised of mostly modern pieces. My skirt suit was perfect, not only because of the retro-style but also because of the print with large polka-dots, ice-cream cones, cherries and cocktails. I accessorized the look with vintage daisy earrings, vintage bangles, and a white jelly basket purse. My retro-jelly shoes are some of my favorite flats and I've literally been wearing jellies since I was a toddler. They're the white versions to my clear and lilac ones I've worn in my previous ice cream vacation posts.
