LOVE IS STRONGER THAN PRIDE

Today, I'm posting a flashback inspired by on of my favorite singers Sade. When I chose this song to be the title of my post I listened to the lyrics and thought about the human condition. The human condition is defined as "the characteristics, key events, and situations which compose the essentials of human existence" (wiki).
It's one of the most intriguing things because we're all so similar yet different. We're all growing and evolving in multiple ways and sometimes it's challenging to see each other's perspective. The next time you're upset with someone or have a difficult time communicating with them, consider the human condition and understand that most of us are striving to improve. Of course there are things we should work out with others and times when we just have to let it be and walk away but don't let your pride get in the way of forgiveness.
Dealing with each other comes with challenges but I hope you choose love over pride every time.
I've had this post in draft since August of last year and have only used one of the images for my FashionBombDaily feature. Denim on denim always comes back in style with a little twist and I decided to do my version of this look last year. I went for a Sade-inspired look with an extra long ponytail, red lips and gold hoops. I styled my distressed jeans with a light blue chambray shirt, blue ankle strap heels, an embroidered and gold coin embellished clutch and gold cuffs. This look is perfect for the cooler spring days but also evoke summer's vibrant hues.
