DIY - FRUITY SHOE CLIPS
Fruits are hot this season and can be found on everything from hair accessories to clothing to handbags to shoes. Our beloved healthy treats are now a fashion statement and to many vintage-lovers (especially the tropical fanatics, I'll call no names), this "trend" has been a summer staple.
With the explosion of fruit salad everywhere, comes the price tag to match the trend. Not so fun, but hey girl hey, I have a DIY for you on the low low! Enter my 5-minute DIY shoe clips!
SUPPLIES
Flip your shoe-clip over as pictured in the second image and apply a small amout hot glue.
STEP 2
Secure the clip to the center of your cherry patch, near the top of the cherries right before the stems.
STEP 3
Ta-da! Told you this would take 5 minutes. Now enjoy your new shoes.
I also made a pineapple version but this time glues the clip to the base of the pine. Anyone in the mood for pina colada? Bes sure to click on the fruit links unser supplies. I linked to various types of fruits for ya!
Summer, here we come!
