MERRY KRYSMAS 2018 🎄🎁🦓💖

In my most recent post I shared I was Babysitting my niece full-time but what I didn't get to share was the fact that we were en route to pick up our first white Christmas tree! 

Last year I didn’t get a tree. I was feeling pretty lazy after maintaining a fresh tree the year before but with my my snookie pie here, I had to have a tree again. 

I’d been drooling over the amazing trees from Krys of Melodrama and Ariel of PMQ for TWO and once I got approval from my baby boss I knew it was going to be a white Christmas in my household.Both Krys and Ariel inspire me so much with their colorful, retro-styles and all their projects are seriously what DIY dreams are made of! With little time to spare, and trees sold out everywhere I turned to online shopping and was lucky enough to find this white pre-lit tree at a Walmart near me. I ordered it online, picked it up in store and that proved to be quite an easy and pleasant process.

After we picked up the tree I knew we needed some extra colorful ornaments to go with my vintage silk thread as well as tropical ornaments so my niece and I ventured into Micheal’s and found some cute retro-style ornaments for 70% off, then into Target for some fun Mexican-inspired ones as well as that cute flamingo pool-float and knitted cactus ornament.
