RUSTIC ROMANTIC WEDDING - BEHIND THE SCENES 🌾✨
Happy Thursday everyone! I completed my most recent event-design project at the end of July and couldn't wait to share the behind the scene images with you. I initially planned on sharing them much sooner but there were delays in getting back the photos. Today I'm excited to finally share them with you!
The couple chose Bear Mountain Inn as their venue and requested lots of white and candle light. We decided a Rustic-Romantic theme would be appropriate with an abundance of greenery added as well. As many of you know, my personal style is very colorful so this neutral palette was a nice way for me to share my versatility in aesthetics. I utilized Pinterest to present my concepts to the couple and after those design plans were approved I moved on to the secondary planing and implementation stage which entailed visiting the venue and drafting up the layout plans for the space. Once that was completed, we were rolling along, things were going according to plan then we hit a bump in the road, 15 days from the Wedding date!
The guest list decreased by a substantial amount and as a result the couple decided to use a smaller part of the venue for a more intimate feel. This left me with under 15 days to update the plans and re-implement. It was a very tight turn-around which posed several challenges especially when working with suppliers who require advance timelines but I worked through those challenges and in the end my team and I executed against our main goal; providing a beautiful and memorable event with a stress-free experience for the couple and their guests.
Now let’s jump into a few of the behind the scenes images of us decorating on the day of the wedding and if you’re interested in my design services, please feel free to shoot me a note via my contact form.

p.s. I recently took a survey on Instagram and almost 40% of you didn't know that I also do event design as well as interior decor in addition to creating style content. I have a few of my projects in my portfolio but realized I don't share as much about decor on the blog and that may be the reason why some of you aren't as familiar. As I continue to do more projects, I will try to post more about them to keep you in the loop.
