‘Tis the season for Tortoise! Really? Well at least that’s the case according to trend reports and I am here for it.
I usually associate tortoise shell accessories with Fall/Winter because of it’s darker brown/black hues but I’m never one to say something can only be worn at a specific time of year so I decided to do a quick Spring/Summer roundup of items for ya. Like leopard or cheetah print, tortoise provides a neutral palette that pairs well with almost anything and looks good against all skin tones. I adore how it looks against white clothing but feel free to go wild and combine with this season’s neon trend, safari neutrals, jungle print, florals, polka dots or fun fruit print. I have a penchant for using cherry print/cherry accessories with tortoise because I love how it pops against the red.
