LOVE YUH LIKE MANGO 🥭
Happy Monday darlings! I haven’t been posting much style content on the blog recently and to be honest between my demanding day job and launching my shop (more to come in a separate post) I needed to ensure I wasn’t over-extending myself. I was also in a bit of a mood because hashtag pandemic and have been staying inside for the most part due to COVID-19.
Super long work days don’t help either but when my friend Jasmin aka Vintage Vandal sent me the sweetest gift from her shop Vintage Vandalizm I was immediately motivated to get my toosh outside and shoot something fun!
Oftentimes, people view clothing as a necessity or dare I say a burden but I see clothing as a work of art that inspires and empowers self-expression and let me tell you Vintage Vandalizm’s pieces do just that! I’ve been drooling over so many pieces and this magnificent Carmen set is a tropical girl’s dream come through!
It’s inspired by one of my absolute favorite muses; Brazilian bombshell, Carmen Miranda and though I’m choosing to limit my time spent outdoors, I just had to get dressed up for my tropical pandemic vacation aka a trip to the neighborhood fruit market.
The quality & detail of this Carmen set is superb and the print melts my tropical heart! The color-way reminds me of a mango and don’t get me started on the fit!!!!! Carmen fits as though she was custom made for my measurements which is so impressive and something you rarely come across these days! Jasmin really poured her heart into these pieces and I’m so proud of her and elated to own this gorgeous set. I want to wear it all the time and I’m already planning on rocking it again for something special!
