METALLICS IN MIAMI
Hello, hello, hello!!! It’s been a hot minute since I sat down to write and publish a blog post and to be honest ya girl feels a little rusty. I took some much needed time off and am slowly easing my way back into the swing of things. I’m working on my blog-posting cadence and will share more about what I’ve been up to in subsequent blog posts. For now, I want to kick things off with some Summer-readying posts that have been sitting on the burner. These photos are from one of my trips I took last year and with Summer now quickly approaching, I figured it’s an appropriate time to share.
Metallics are always a fab idea and you know this Guyanese gyal loves her some gold (fun fact; one of Guyana’s leading economic sectors has been gold production) plus it seems to be on-trend this season.
Needless to say, I fell in love with this metallic, lurex-like swimsuit who’s ombre color-way reminded me of sunrise. I styled it up with chunky vintage and modern gold accessories and my vintage fur-trimmed metallic gold robe added the accompanying glitz and glam for a luxe feel to the look.
The suit was sold out last year when I rocked it but recently came back in stock, so I’m sharing in addition to some other similar suits. Happy almost official Summer!
