Hi everyone! If you live in the US, I hope you're having a wonderful long holiday weekend! If not, I still hope your weekend was filled with adventures. The weather has warmed up nicely in NYC and all I want to do is be outside taking in the sunshine and fresh air.

Over the weekend I attended a brunch event and wore a bright red dress that reminds me of the dancing emoji lady. The dress is calf length and made out of cotton that has a similar texture to seersucker. The shoulder straps criss-cross in the front and have tiny ruffle details.  I wanted to go for a laid back look so I styled the dress with flat silver slides, a stack of colorful vintage bangles, a parrot hinge bracelet (a gift from my sister), gold frog ring, mom's tropical leaf earrings  and a woven wooden hinge purse that I purchased about 10 years ago. I love bright colors and wanted to do a bit of "color-blocking" so I opted for pink lips and nails instead of red.

Be sure to scroll all the way to the end. I promise it's the best part of the post!
