DRESSED IN JOYFUL PRINTS

Happy Friday darlings! Hope you’re staying cozy today! I gave you a sneak peek of this look on Instagram back in Jan but today I’m happy to finally where the full look with you! 

I’ve had this t-shirt style dress in my closet for quite some time and never got around to wearing or shooting for the blog. Shame on my procrastination but do you ever do that with pieces? I’m guilty of this especially when I have a specific look in mind that I want to create. I still have pieces and looks I’ve planned to rock from years ago that I still haven’t worn but I’m working on changing this! 

Anywhoo, this lovely blue, black, white & grey number is from one of my favorite Black, female-owned small business; Vetu de Joy! I’ll be sharing more about this online boutique based out of Brooklyn pretty soon but for now let's get into this look. 

I’m all about print mixing and so is Vetu de Joy, so naturally I had to do right by this piece and get my print-mixologist on. From toe up, I styled this dress with green satin v-vamp pumps, snow leopard leggings, an embroidered and beaded clutch that was actually an iPad case, African beaded bracelets, faux fur coat, statement tassel earrings from this Etsy shop, leopard sunnies and my African-print headwrap.   

As usual, I wanted the vibe to be casual yet glam and of course colorful. I'll def be rocking this t-shirt dress more as the weather warms up and will also share another one of my looks from Vetu de Joy soon! Enjoy and be sure to check out the shop!
