RETRO BEACH BOMBSHELL 🌊🐚

Happy Swimsuit Saturday! I usually don't post over the weekend but I couldn't wait any longer to share this post with you. Okay, I meant to share it yesterday but then I thought this would be fun for Swimsuit Saturday.

There's nothing like spending a beautiful day, basking in the sun, building sand castles and taking a dip in the ocean waters. I love the beach and my favorite style to rock while there is retro, of course!

I adore a good high-waisted bikini because it's a timeless style that holds you in and hugs your curves in all the right places. This classic style is flattering for many shapes especially us curvy girls with beautiful junk in the trunk! This little number from Red Dolly Swimwear is so delightful but when it first arrived, I was a little worried about the top and didn't know how the girls would feel about it. Once I took it out the packaging, I quickly realized it had supportive cups built in which did a good job of holding my twins in place and keeping them looking perky-licious! The top can be worn on or off the shoulders and the bottoms have the cutest frill on each leg. Speaking of cute, how adorable is the vintage-camera print? I can't get enough of this suit and will definitely be wearing back to the beach before Summer ends. If you're interested in getting one  for yourself, you can snag it here and if you're not a two piece gal, there is also an equally fun one-piece here

To complement my swimsuit, I went for a fun pinup look. My swimsuit cape and jewelry are all vintage. My denim turban headband was handmade from an Etsy shop which unfortunately closed a while back. I wrapped it to give what I refer to as the bunny ears effect versus a more traditional half turban knot or rosette style. Polka-dot sunnies are available in my amazon shop and jelly shoes are old from American Apparel.

Now, who's going to the beach today?
