FALL FLAIR ๐๐โ๏ธ
I actually planned on sharing this outfit after the official first day of Fall but decided to hold off as the weather warmed up a bit. Now with clouds overhead, temps cooling down and October here, I bring you casual-chic Fall style.
This look is pretty toned down from my usual colorful style and while Iโm a color-fanatic, I also love shades of browns and neutrals as they tend to complement my complexion well. Fall is the perfect time to embrace rich hues and neutrals. They blend in with nature, as the seasons change and isnโt there just something about them that makes you feel cozy and warm? I think the power of color and itโs effcts on oneโs feelings is just amazing!
My outfit is pretty much your basic T-shirt and jeans look but I added some much needed flair and light layering with my vintage wool blazer which Iโve had for years. I really love how a good blazer can take an outfit from drab to fab in just a few seconds. I find them exceptionally useful on days when pressed for time when you just need to pull on something and go!
I particularly like them for heading into the office or taking client meetings. Iโve been working on decor projects and often want to be comfy in my jeans & tee in case I have to do any work on site but I also want to look professional and polished so I pull on a blazer and that does the trick every time.
Anywhoo, back to this outfit. I accessorized by layering up a few of my tiny necklaces with a pair of tortoise and turquoise jeweled earrings, added a vintage brown briefcase-style purse, tan fedora I picked up from Primark (when they first opened in Boston), slip on metallic mules for a pop of color, wine colored leopard belt and a vintage leopard scarf tied around my ankle because whatโs an outfit from me without a little print?
