VALENTINE’SGIFT GUIDE 2020 - LOVE’S CALLING
Every year I share a little Valentine’s gift guide on my Instagram or blog and wanted to continue the tradition.
I believe in celebrating love, whether it’s gifting your loved one an item off this list, treating them to something special like a spa day or preparing their favorite meal - take the time to let them know how much you love, appreciate and support them because love is a verb. We’re not guaranteed tomorrow and got a harsh reminder with the recent helicopter crash that killed 9 passengers including athlete Kobe Bryant and his beloved13 year old daughter. It shook so many of us to the core and my heart goes out to all the families impacted by such a tragic accident. I pray for their comfort, strength and healing through this very difficult time.
Please remember to love and make every single day you’re alive count. If you’re one to complain about Valentine’s day, try not to do that this year. If you don’t like the commercial aspect then don’t participate in that way but when love comes calling, answer back (with love) and remember the day is not just for romantic partners. Celebrate your family, friends and even better - share a bit of love through an act of kindness towards a stranger.
