UNIQUE ORGANIZATION FOR YOUR ACCESSORIES

Recently, I’ve been sharing a few peeks of my cleaning/organizing process of the accessories section of my girl cave on Instagram stories and quite a few of you really liked my storage and display options so today I’m doing a quick roundup of some pretty pieces to organize your accessories.

I tend to mix holders made specifically for jewelry along with lots of ceramic dishes from the kitchen section. That’s right, I find large bowls, ceramic muffin/cupcake “tins”, teacups, planters, egg crates, tiered dessert stands and plates work amazingly well and offer a unique take on accessory organization. I frequent second-hand shops like Housing Works and Goodwill as well as stores like HomeGoods, Target and TJMaxx for random but interesting finds.

For my necklaces that aren’t stored in bowls or on the necklace bust, I hammered some tiny white nails into the wall as hangers and you really don’t notice them when the necklaces are hung. Another quick solution is to make my DIY Tropical Necklace Holder.

I also took a gold wall shelf from Target and used it as an earring, fascinator and hair flower holder. The grid allows me to hang and stack several pairs of earrings for easy access and display.

For my sunglasses, I keep the pairs I’m not wearing frequently during a specific season in a drawer but for the others that I need handy, I like to hang them on my DIY Sunglasses Storage Frame.
