I often hear people complain about Valentine's Day and how it's a gimmick but I enjoy the day. I love celebrating love and not just the romantic kind. If you live in NYC like me or anywhere cold, Valentine's will remind your frigid heart that the sun and flowers will come out tomorrow.

I created these Polyvore style sets last week and decided to publish them in time for the Golden Globes. I recently purchased some extra long vintage gloves and those served as the inspiration for these sets. The dresses reminisce on the glamorous silhouettes of the 1940's and 1950's  and I love them! If you follow me on Instagram you'll see how much I love vintage and retro-inspired looks. 

I have a soft spot for many things and marble is definitely one. Just take a look at my DIY Marble Coasters and you'll see. I love when pattens apply to decor as well as style so when I spotted these sunglasses I had to have them.
