A few weeks have passed since my Aruba trip and it's now starting to heat up in NYC! When we got back from Aruba, we were welcomed by hot summer-like weather which made me very happy. It felt as though I had brought the good weather back with me, however, a day later NYC reminded me of who she was. It got chilly again!

Yes folks, my space heater, furry bedroom slippers and coat were in full effect again and I was bummed. Now, a couple weeks later, we're starting to feel the heat and all I can do is think about the sun, sand and all the fun Mildred had getting ice-cream.

Can you believe we're in the last month of 2016 already? I feel as though the year flew by and now Christmas is just a few weeks away. Before you know it we'll be ringing in the new year!

As I close out this year on the blog, I want to highlight my love for color and create a look dedicated to the colors of the year; Rose Quartz and Serenity.

Oh how I love the Summer! I never want to say goodbye to warm temperatures, tropical prints and frozen drinks but even when I cry into my cocktail glass, the seasons never listen to me!

We're now a month away from Fall and I'm trying to make peace (kinda, sorta) and simply embrace the transition because I really don't have many quarrels with Fall except it indicates #WinterIsComing and that's when my tantrums are amplified. 

During the early days of Fall, I enjoy that you can get away with wearing some of your Summer pieces, especially  pants and maxi dresses. Today I'm sharing a transitional look that can be worn on a cool Summer evening or early Fall day.
