When this dress arrived, I was excited to try it on. I was a bit skeptical about the size because it looked tiny when I pulled it out the bag. Nevertheless, I tried it on and it fit! I adored the mixing of my favorite banana-leaf print with garden roses and butterflies but then I realized something about the dress that made me second-guess keeping it.

I got stuck on the idea and held off from sharing the tutorial while I tried to source additional supplies. I still haven't found the right supplies but with the recent parrot craze popping up in the fashion world, I figured I might as well share the initial DIY with you. Read MoreWhile traveling back from Cartagena, we stopped in Miami for a couple of nights because there was a terrible snow storm in NYC. I checked the weather for this weekend and it's suppose to snow (insert crying emoji face). I'm not sure if the snow will turn into rain this weekend but it was very cold all week to the point where we had to whip out our puffy coats and boots again. It's April and all I can say is "Winter to be gone!" I'm ready for sunshine, crisp air and fragrant flowers.
