It's Friday and time to have some Flamingo fun!  These pretty pink birds make my heart flutter and I'm thinking you might have a thing for Flamingos too! Everyone and their grandmother knows how much I love Queen Bey! I have a great appreciation for Beyonce's work ethic, music and style.  I've followed her since I was a teenager and one of my most memorable moments was watching the Baby Boy (featuring Sean Paul) video. I loved her outfits, hairstyles, dance moves and that beat was everything! 

I celebrated my birthday on our vacation in Cartagena and took some time to reflect on how much I've grown over the years.  I'm fully "adulting" and sometimes it seems as though I turned 13 a week ago! Time flies and as women it's important to practice self-love as we grow. Today I share what my Mom, femininity and poolside glamour all have in common. We squealed as we entered the shop and several ooohs and ahhhs could be heard from the other shoppers. Valentine's Day is this Sunday and 'A Sunday Kind Of Love' has been stuck in my head all week long. I love Etta James' music and think this song is perfect for our upcoming day celebrating love.  Etta's music spanned several genres including blues, soul, rock and roll, jazz and gospel and she had a way of making it her own.
