Ice cream, how I love thee!

It’s no secret, I L-O-V-E ice cream! I eat ice-cream almost every week (more like every other day,shhh) and it’s my guiltiest of pleasures. I couldn't imagine a world without it and  with Summer fast approaching, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite ice cream shops in NYC. Happy almost weekend darlings! Last week I shared a red and white look that I thought would be great for the upcoming Memorial Day weekend and today I'm sharing a roundup of vintage as well as modern pieces in red, white & fruit. There is just something about combining red and white that screams Summer in the US. I also love adding green in the mix and fruit just gives whatever you're rocking major retro-vibes. 

It’s no secret, I love gingham print just as much as I love flowers! It’s the perfect print to welcome Spring and always reminds me of picnics in the park. 

I got this cute two piece set from Zara last Spring with every intention of shooting against a backdrop of Magnolias or Cherry Blossom but didn’t get a chance to do so. 

I feel it coming! Spring is finally coming to NYC and I hope she stays! We’ve been going back and forth with the weather and after my recent vacation, I was not impressed with the lingering cold temps. 

I bought these faux flowers a few months back for this DIY but never got around to it. Story of my life! When I got home, I placed them in a DIY vase and really liked how it looked in my girl cave so decided I’d keep them there for the Winter.

Anywhoo, I’ve been going through some of my old photos and realized I have quite a few DIY projects I promised you all (over the last few years 🙈) and haven’t completed them so I decided this won’t be one. So without further delay, here’s a quick tutorial on how to make these pretty pansy hair pins.
